Location was ideal and all the staff went above and beyond. Lisa was just great helping with bookings etc but I think averybody on staff helped me at some point!

The customer service was absolutely terrible. I do a lot of traveling all over the world, staying at numerous hostels, but I have never been treated with so little respect. I invited one of my friends that was visiting me in San Francisco to dinner at the hostel and it became a big ordeal. The desk attendants had a sort of elitism problem and talked down to the guests. One of the employees, Will Kreiger, was especially rude. Location was great and having a guest kitchen available was nice, but I

It's a good hostel, although it lacks a bit of personal touch, since it's pretty big. The café is very good and cheap (try out the sandwiches!), but the free breakfast is a joke (1 bagel + 1 drink - either you buy some more or you bring your own).
