We are a new kid on the block out to set an example that hostels are more than just a place to rest your head. San Rafael is the perfect place to do just that! Spend your days exploring exquisite natural beauty and adventure activities and come home to relax next to our pool or social common room.
The hostel is situation on an old olive farm 30 min from the city centre - far enough out of town to wake up to the sounds of birds but close enough to immerse in all that the area has to offer. The converted main house offers spacious rooms, high ceilings and excellent kitchen facilities. Venture outside and you will find a 10m x 5m pool surrounded by 70 year old olive trees where you can spread out a towel and enjoy the sun or shade. If you are looking to really get away from it all explore the more secluded parts of the property and you are guaranteed to find a relaxing space all of your own. Our staff are helpful, speak both Spanish and English and have an intimate knowledge of the local activities and attractions both on the tourist circuit and not. |

Long distance bus lines from Buenos Aires or elsewhere are able to drop you at the nearby SALTO DE LAS ROSAS YPF GAS STATION. From San Rafael itself follow the directions to Buenos Aires if coming by car and look out for our sign on the right at KM 497 on ROUTE 143 when coming through Salto de las Rosas, 20km from the city centre. If using public transport there are buses more or less every half an hour from San Rafael that can also drop you outside our property. The 2 bus companies are ISELIN and BUTTINI which leave from near PUNTO ZERO in San Rafael.
Located Near
The center of San Rafael has a distinctive small city feel with bars and restaurants spilling out onto the streets in the late afternoon. The city resembles a small forest with every street lined with mature trees and well kept plazas littering the town. Within 30 min of the center are two large valleys, each with a hydroelectric dam. The famous Valle Grande offers rafting, kayaking, catamaran tours, walking, tirolesa and a string of beautiful spots to stop for a drink or barbecue. Lots to do!
