Only one block from the beach, Amtrak train and Greyhound bus stations and State Street for nightlife and shopping, we have private rooms and dorm rooms, both co-ed and female only.
We offer private rooms and dorms for the international backpacker. Breakfast, parking, Wi-Fi and all taxes are included in the price. Other amenities include laundry, vending machines, internet kiosks and activities information for your visit to Santa Barbara. There are also bike and Rollerblade rentals, maps, guides and tour suggestions. There are activities to suit everyone's taste located nearby, including hiking, shopping, surfing, whale watching, biking and sun bathing on our glorious beaches. The hostel is located directly opposite the Amtrak train and the Greyhound bus stations, with plenty of free car and bike parking. This property has specific Terms & Conditions.Dorm rooms are intended for international travellers with a valid non-US passport and a plane ticket leaving the USA. For American citizens a current student ID and another form of official ID is required. There are no requirements to stay in our private rooms.
Our prices include all taxes!
Opening times: 8:15am �til 10:15pm. During the day the lobby is closed between 12:30pm and 1:30pm (rest of hostel remains accessible).
Check-in: from 2pm.
Please note that there is a $20 key deposit for each key, which is returned upon checkout. The key deposit must be paid in cash. Sorry, but the key deposit cannot be put on your credit card.
We have a 72hr cancellation policy. Late cancellations and no-shows shall be charged the equivalent of the first night's accommodation.

Directions from the South:
Exit 101 at Cabrillo and follow the beach road to State Street, turn right and first left on Mason, first right on Kimberly, we are at the end on the left.
Directions from the North:
Exit 101 at Garden and turn right, follow to the beach, turn right and right again on State Street. First left at Mason, first right on Kimberly, we're at the top of the road.

We're located one block from beach and State street for nightlife and shopping and Amtrak and Greyhound stations are across the street! Everything is nearby us. Some examples are: museum of art, the pier, the harbour, the zoo, tons of beaches, restaurants, bars, the mission, the courthouse tower, the skatepark, whalewatching, surfboard rentals, beach volleyball and much, much more.
