Oca is a modern house backdropped on a beautiful ridge, which overlooks a large part of this cidade grande (big city). Relax in a safe, fun and quality environment, and then set out into the heart of this pulsing city of São Paulo. Oca Hostel offers an excellent daily bar and food service. Our menu changes everyday, each time offerring an ecletic variety of food for your enjoyment. We also have a happy hour (6-8) todos os dias (everyday) with excellent drink specials and music provided by the local and well known artist, DJ Vinnix. How to Find Oca Hostel
Oca Hostel is very easy to find. We are only two blocks from the nearest Metro station, which has easy links to both Guarulhos and Congonhas airports and the major bus terminals.
How are you arriving?
> Terminal Rodoviário Portuguesa Tiete
Get the subway (Blue Line) from Portuguesa-Tiete to Jabaquara, and get off at the Ana Rosa station.
> International Airport Guarulhos
The best way to do the transfer from the international airport of Guarulhos to the city of Sao Paulo is using the Airport Service Bus or taxi. There are two bus options:
> Economical Urban: R$4.05 (approx.) - the bus stop is located in the external part of the airport close to the taxi stations. The end of the line is Metro Shopping Tatuape in the Zona Leste (East) of Sao Paulo. From Tatuape's Metro station go towards Barra Funda until Se station then transfer to the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Jabaquara. Follow until Ana Rosa.
> Executive: R$30 (approx.) - take the bus to the Terminal Rodoviaria Tiete. From Terminal Rodoviaria Tiete catch the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Jabaquara and follow to Ana Rosa station.
> Congonhas Airport
When leaving the plane walk to check-in counters, to get the exit of the catwalk where is the bus stop to downtown, get the bus 6751-10 - Metro São Judas. Once you arrive in São Judas Metro take the train towards Tucuruvi and get off at the Ana Rosa station.
Taxis
>Taxi is definitely the easiest way to travel but also more expensive. From the airport simply get the exit and take one of the many taxis to Ana Rosa station, Rua Manuel de Paiva 147. It is possible the taxi driver may not know the hostel. In which case, ask for Caixa d'Agua on Carlos Petit (this is the water filtration plant on the corner).
Terminal Rodoviário Palmeiras Barra Funda.
> Get the subway towards Corinthians-Itaquera, get off at the Sé station and transfer onto the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Jabaquara, and follow until the Ana Rosa station.
*** FROM ANA ROSA STATION ***
> Get the Exit A to Rua Vergueiro on your left. After exit, turn left and go straight to the next road, Rua Machado de Assis, then turn left and cross the street on the right. The next street on the right is Rua Manuel de Paiva. Turn right and go approx. 150 meters. We are on the left, number 147.
