BY FOOT: from the aqueduct, walk down the "Via Roma Avenue" on the left sidewalk leaving the Aqueduct at your back. You will inmediately find the stairs down to Duermevela in the "Gascos Street".
BY TRAIN: From the AVE station, go to the main exit and take bus number 11. Stay on this bus until you reach the Aqueduct, which is its the last stop . Once you get off of the bus, just cross the street and you will see stairs leading down to Duermevela.
BY BUS: First of all, don´t use Google maps, it will take you further away! Instead, from the main exit of the bus station, turn left. Then, cross the red painted crosswalk and turn right on Calle Ezequiel Gonzalez. Walk a few meters and take the first street your left which is Avenida Fernández Ladreda. You will reach the Aqueduct in less than 5 minutes. After you pass through its arches, go down the Avenida Via Roma. On the left sidewalk you will see stairs that will take you to the street where the hostel is. From the top of the stairs, you will see a yellow sign that reads Duermevela Hostel.
ACCESS BY CAR: From Avenida Via Roma, take the street Jeronimo Aliaga. (You will see a medical centre at the intersection of Jeronimo Aliaga and Via Roma). Take the second left which is Antonio Coronel. After 100 meters the street name changes to Calle Gascos and you will find the Hostel at the end of this street.
The Hostel is located on one of the oldest streets in Segovia. It is 100 meters from the aqueduct which is in the heart of the city.
Segovia is also home to many great bars and restaurants that have traditional cuisine native to the city and a popular variety of tapas (free with each drink!).
You can also visit the beautiful surroundings such as the Eresma river and mills, and the Royal Palace of La Granja.
