A newly built eco-friendly, Japanese-style guesthouse opened in 2011 in Sendai.
Umebachi, a cozy and welcoming guesthouse, is situated in a quiet residential area, conveniently located for business, sightseeing, and sports watching. It is only 15 minutes from the JR Sendai Station by taxi and 5 minutes from the Nigatake Station on the Senseki Line by foot.
Our guesthouse uses natural materials to offer green lodging. We have a plaster wall made of Seisoudo (diatomaceous earth) using traditional plastering technique. Eco-friendly finishes are selected for the wood floors, ceilings, doors, and poles.
Enjoy staying in a Japanese-style establishment, such as Tsuboniwa (a small garden enclosed by a building), where you can go to unwind.
Reasonable local dishes and sake are served at the Doma, which becomes a bar in the evening.
Experience true Japanese hospitality here at Umebachi.
