We are a newly opened hostel that caters to budget travellers that want a nice quiet place to stay yet conveniently located to tourist attractions and the city. Our hostel is newly renovated and you can be assured of staying in a nice environment.Our hostel is located on the 2nd floor and is strictly smoke free. We offer 2 types of rooms, mixed dorm and ladies only dorm. Our rooms are all air conditioned and we feature super single bunk beds for comfort. Linens are changed daily to ensure a clean environment. Each bed has a individual power point. We also provide nice clean bathrooms with hot water. Rates include the free use of the following like high speed Wi Fi internet access, cable TV and free local calls. We also provide free basic breakfast. Coffee / tea is available from the pantry all day.

This property has specific Terms & Conditions.Reception is open 10 am to 3 pm daily or by appointment. For check in times outside of these times, please email us to arrange. For safety reasons, we do not accept children below age of 15 years or seniors above the age of 50. No smoking / consumption of alcohol is permitted within the hostel premises. No outsiders / visitors are allowed to enter the hostel premises. There is no curfew imposed. As we are registered as a backpacker hostel, we typically do not accept locals / PRs / foreigners with work passes / students.This property has a 3 day cancellation policy. Failure to cancel within this time will result in a cancellation charge equal to the first night of your stay. For no shows, your entire stay will be charged.

How to get to our location from Changi airport1. By Airport Shuttle (cost is $9 per person) Inform ground at arrival hall that u are going to Happy Snail Hostel Block 147 Silat Avenue #01-32 This is cost effective for 1 or 2 travelers. (runs 24 hrs)2. By taxi (estimated cost about $25) Inform taxi driver that u are going to Block 147 Silat Avenue #01-32 Landmarks : SGH, Outram MRT, Kampong Bahru Road This is cost effective for 3 to 4 travelers.3. By MRT Walk to Changi Airport Station Take MRT to Outram Park MRT (EW16) i ) Go to Exit A, take taxi to hostel (taxi ride from mrt to hostel costs only about S$4 so for convenience and time saving pls use a taxi especially for night time and 1st time visitors.ii) Go to Exit H, take bus number 147 or 961, drop off at block 149 Jalan Bukit Merah. Alternatively, you may take 124 or 143 to the hostel and drop off opposite Orange Valley Nursing home.Important note : Our entrance is located at the BACK of Block 147 Silat Ave near the car park. It is right behind the food court which is located in Block 146.
Located Near
We are located near the city centre and a short 5 min bus ride from Outram MRT (EW16) and Chinatown. Singapore's major tourist attraction, Universal Studios and Sentosa are reachable in 6 min via bus. There is a bus service called SAEx available at Vivocity just outside Sentosa that provides bus services to all the tourist destinations including the Singapore Zoo, BirdPark, Singapore Flyer, etc.
