Welcome to Alexander House! We call it Our House because of the relaxed atmosphere and special conditions which my wife and I wanted to create when we decided to renovate the old building on a Kryukov Kanal. The elegant building in which the house is situated was built at the beginning of the 19th century for a prosperous St Petersburg merchant. During the reconstruction of the building, my wife and I spent a lot of time making sure that we were restoring the building as close as possible back to its original appearance. For example, we found the design of the shutters - which gives a very 'European' 'look' - in the original architect's drawings. We knew when we first found the building that we wanted our house to be unlike anything else in St Petersburg. That is why each of our 19 rooms is different. We think that good design is important because it helps people to unwind. Comfortable Kitchen is on the ground floor of the hotel, with views onto the Kryukov Canal, and is open 24 hours. Guests are offered a buffet breakfast here, from 08 a.m. until 11 a.m. Each room is unique in its own design and named after the most beautiful cities, such as Rome, Bangkok, Copenhagen, London, Marrakech, Mexico and Venice. Please note: In order to proceed with your reservation we require valid credit card. The remaining amount of the reservation will be preauthorized and charged on arrival date of the booking by Travelmed Hotels Group. For non valid credit cards you will receive an e-mail notification. We require your reply and valid credit card details within 3 working days. If you do not provide valid credit card details within 3 working days your booking may be cancelled as a result. You have up to 3 days prior to arrival to cancel the reservation without charge. If the reservation is cancelled within 72 hours prior to arrival you will be charged 1 night stay.
