The nearest metro is Mayakovskaya. Enter the arch of Nevsky 84/86, and walk along the narrow passage between the buildings. Turn right and enter the courtyard. You will see a red-brick building on your right hand side. The entrance is the first to your right (there is a bright red plaque on the entrance door). The apartment is on the 4th floor.

Mayakovskaya/Pl. VostaniyaThis area is the heart of the city with Nevsky Prospect, St. Petersburg´s main thoroughfare running nearby. The main railroad station ÂÂ- Moskovsky Station - is located in this area, so it is a very convenient place to stay in for travellers. The area is short walking distance from many of the cityÂÂ's major attractions: the Hermitage Museum, the Russian Museum, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan, as well as many others. There are many interesting architectural sites in this area. Take a walk and have a look at the various facades of many of the old buildings that date back to the XIXth century. Many of the cityÂÂ's businesses are located in this area as are numerous restaurants and stores. If you are in the city during the White Nights season, between mid May and mid August, do not miss a chance to stroll along the embankment and watch the bridges across the Neva rise. It is really a spectacular site that you will never forget.
