About The CubaHostel

Art, history and Russian culture
Cubahostel occupies the very same building where the famous composer Rachmaninov lived and worked. Just outside we have our 'Rachmaninov Garden' from which you can hear live performances in summer through the open windows. 3 minutes walk away there is a small art cafe which combines a great atmosphere with reasonable prices.
They also have an INFOPOINT which allows residents of the city to navigate the world of movies, music, art, new books and theatre.
Night Life
The staff at Cubahostel are always ready for a party and always keen to go out with guests to all the places that are NOT in the guidebooks. We love having and sharing fun!

Pretty damn good, very clean. don't let the look of the stairs to the place fool you. Cute receptionists... lol the only real gripe would have to be the bunk beds. The guy sleeping above me was a tosser and turner, and the beds made every toss and turn very well known. If these were upgraded to sturdier beds, I would give this place an A+ Dawson, from USA ~ 23rd Sep 2009

The hostel consists of two top floors (3rd and 4th) of an apartment building. There is no elevator, which means caryying the luggage on your own. The good thing is that the staircase is rather wide and that the steps are not steep. The layout of both floors is similar: there are dorms and a common area which serves both as a kitchen and a living room. Showers, sinks and toilets have been split into separate rooms.
