So you’ve landed on Malta. Welcome! Now, let’s get cracking on the beginning of your journey.

If you're coming by Bus from the Airport there are 2 options:
1. A ten minute walk (Direct Route from Airport to St Julians).
Catch bus X2 from Airport and stop near Le Meridien Hotel in Balluta Bay, St Julians. Once there, take the uphill behind the small piazza, with BOV (Bank of Valletta) to your left. At the top of the hill go right and take the second left street after the Ironmonger. You'll see a sign that says 'Sliema' once you reach the top. Walk up hill (you'll see a huge property called Casa Leone) and take a right and walk all the way in that street until you can take your first left. Once at the top of this street (you'll see a block of flats called 'Elle Court') take a right and keep walking until you reach the end of the street and see the highway. Be careful and stick to your left and you'll find G.Xerri Street. Look up. See a windmill? Welcome to Villa Cycas.

2. Catch two buses but stop closer to Villa.
For those who'd rather stop closer to the Villa due to lots of luggage you can catch two buses and stop a few minutes away:
Catch bus number X4 from airport to Valletta.
Once in Valletta, hop on buses 21 or 23 which will take you to St Julian’s and get off at the stop reading ‘Romero’ on Mrabat Street.
Once off the bus at the Romero stop, take the uphill to your left. At the top take a right and walk to the end of the street until you see an uphill on the left. Walk up this short hill until you get to the top. Now- Be careful and stick to your left as there’s a highway to the right.
You should now be in a street that reads ‘Guzeppi Xerri’.

If you're coming by car-
Once you leave the airport follow signs leading to Valletta until you reach those that take you directly to St Julians.
Once on the St Julian’s main ‘Highway’ Road- Triq Regionali (Regional Road), pass the roundabout and keep on going until you see a sign that reads, 'Sliema, San Gwann, Ta Giorni.' Take this street down and then take your first left, with the sign reading 'Msida.' Now, once you're at the top and driving along the rest of Regional Road, take your first left- be careful as it's a Sharp Left. You're now in G. Xerri Street and you'll find Villa Cycas thanks to the Windmill in the garden.

If you’re coming by cab-
Tell the taxi driver that Villa Cycas is located in a small left-hand street on Regional Road in ST Julians- between the tunnels and Zammit Clapp hospital.
Again, to spot the hostel straight away, just look out for orange house with a windmill.

(Taxi drivers charge anything from €20 to €25 but you can opt to book the airport transfer in advance( prices start from €7)
