Best Hostel Old Town is one of the most centrally located hostels in Stockholm, within walking distance of all the main attractions, including the Royal Palace, the Nobel Museum and Storkyrkan Cathedral. A small property, we have accommodation for just 40 guests in dormitories and private rooms, all equipped with internet access and most with air conditioning and television. Please inform us in advance if you wish to check in after 21:00. |

Vasagatan runs outside of the Central Station and Arlanda Express station and below Cityterminalen, where all the airport coaches stop. Follow Vasagatan to the right towards the Sheraton Hotel. Walk across Vasabron Bridge and up to the traffic light.
You have now reached Old Town (Gamla Stan). Walk across the street and follow Storkyrkobrinken up to Storkyrkan (Stockholm Cathedral) and make a right onto Trangsund. Our address is Trangsund 12. Storkyrkan (the lower and wider of the two church towers in Old Town) will be in your sights the entire time. Use it as a reference point.

Another option is to take the underground one stop to the 'Gamla Stan' station. When you exit the station out onto the street, go left to Kakbrinken and follow Kakbrinken up to the main square, known as Stortorget. Go left towards the church when you reach the square. We are located at Trangsund 12.
Please note that if you plan to check in after 21.00 you need to contact us to get a code for the front door.
