One of Stockholm's most central hostel. In the middle of city attractions, shopping and restaurants. Castanea is a personal little hostel, located in one of the Old Towns narrow cobbled stone streets. With a beautiful horse chestnut tree at a small square just outside.

I think the staff could control better the storage place (instead of us taking the luggage ourselves), cause anyone who knows the code could have taken our luggage. I think this is a little bit strange. And the bathroom should be cleaned twice a day because it smells bad after so many people using it.

Castanea is a great place to stay.Nice people CLEANgood value. Excellent location in the old town. But the rooms on the groundfloor situated along the streets can be noisy during the week end.
