STF / IYHF Fridhemsplan is one of the biggest hostels in Stockholm, situated close to the city centre on the island of Kungsholmen. We have modern private rooms and dormitories with cable television and free internet access. Linen can be rented or guests may bring their own. Disabled access rooms are available. Facilities include parking, a kitchen and a common room. Check-in: 15:00-18:00 Check-out: 11:00 Non-members of YHA will be charged a small fee at check-in. Please contact us in advance to arrange a late check-in, or your booking may be cancelled. ***Please note that if you are not a member of the YHA a small membership fee of 50SEK per person per night and 25SEK for children (per child per night) between 2-15 yrs of age will apply on check-in. For a late arrival please contact the Hostel otherwise your booking is not going to be valid.*** |

Public Transportation
Take the blue line with subway and get off at Fridhemsplan ( which is two stations from Central Station). Go up to Drottningholmsvägen, and from there it's about 100 m to us. You can also reach us by busnumber 1, 3, 40 or 62 by getting of at Kronobergsgatan.
By car from the south
From E4/E20, follow the signs towards Fridhemsplan. Get off E4/E20 to the right towards Fridhemsplan and keep driving straight forward to the second set of traffic lights. Now turn right onto S:t Eriksgatan and at the crossing of S:t Eriksgatan / Hantverkargatan you will see the hostel on your left .
By car from the north
From E4/E20, follow the signs to Norrtull. Turn right after passing a railroad bridge. Turn left at the next set of traffic lights. Now you should be on S:t Eriksgatan. Follow it until you reach number 20, near the crossing of S:t Eriksgatan / Hantverkargatan.
Airport
Arlanda airport is the closest airport and is situated 40 km, about a 35 minute drive, from Stockholm City. The easiest way to get there is by taxi. From the Central Station you can catch the airport bus every 10 minutes or the Arlanda Express train every 15 minutes.
