When the city of Sydney is feeling a bit too big and busy, come out to the Pittwater YHA, let the fresh air and surrounding natural beauty of this place charge your personal batteries. Even the local Sydney-siders come to the Pittwater YHA for a break "away from it all".
The Pittwater YHA is reached by water access only. Use public transport or drive to Church Point then catch the ferry or the water taxi as per the details given on travel to the hostel. The Hostel is located in a National Park and the water supply is only from rainfall. To help conserve our limited water guests are asked to bring their bed lined (top + bottom sheet and pillow case). If this is not possile there is an option to hire sheets at $2 pp. Sleeping bags are not permitted at this hostel. |

Cancellation Policy

1 hour bus journey from the city to Church Point, then take a ferry or water taxi to Halls Wharf and 15 minute walk on bush track uphill to the hostel. Direct bus 156 from Manly or E86 from city in peak hours with prepaid ticket. Alternatively, from city, L90 bus with change to 156 at Mona Vale. Last ferry from Church Point is 7pm weekdays and 6.30pm weekends. Water taxi until midnight. WE ARE WATER ACCESS - YOU CAN DRIVE TO CHURCH POINT BUT NOT TO THE HOSTEL DOOR. Public car park at the Point is pay and display.
