The Sleeeping Maris is named in honour of a long term winter resident of The Dancing Eesti who blamed the hostel for sapping her energy and making her sleep days on end. Because of that we have set up this hostel that allows guests all the fun and activities of The Dancing Eesti but also a different place to sleep so when guests want to chill, they can find their own space and not be worried by parties. The hostel also has security cameras and is situated in a safe and secure location. Our location is smack bang in the middle of the old town, every attraction is a few minutes walk away Staff work tirelessly at The Sleeeping Maris and are all locals, we can help you find activities related to your interests and can arrange daytrips to view the beauty of estonia as a whole Important guests arriving before 10am or after 11pm must email a time of arrival, nightshirt staff have many duties and need to be aware of check in detail We attract a young crowd and promote the socializing aspect of hostels, so older guests who find it offensive to talk with other guests or share facilities, should find another hostel NO LARGE MALE GROUPS this is to keep the hostel not so loud. From the Airport
Take bus number 2 to the A.Laikmaa stop at the Viru shopping center and walk from there to the Old Town. You will see a small flower market, walk there through the Viru Gates and you will end up in Viru street, walk about Viru street and the second left is Sauna street, so walk more than halfway up Sauna street and look for a red door with a space invader sign, there should be this picture in our picture section, the red door will have written on it appartment thirteen. This door is the entrance to the hostel
From the Bus Station
Take bus 17 or 23 to Vabaduse Valjak, the bus stop at a big square. Cross the parking lot and walk into Harju street. Turn at the tourist office to the right into Kuninga street and take your first righht into Vaike Karja, walk down this street until you vew Sauna Street, then walk down Sauna street and on the left handside you shuld see a red door with a space invader symbol above it. On the red door it also says appartment thirteen and this si the hostel entrance
From the Harbour
Walk from the port in the direction of the Old Town, take a left into Mere street till the roundabout. Take a right there through the Viru Gates and you will end up in Viru street.
