Welcome to ARTnSHELTER. ARTnSHELTER is a sensational hip hostel where lovers of culture must stay. This is not only a hostel, but also a place to discover profound and hidden Japanese culture. We have a great cafe and bar space, you may find your new travel mates or local people who might have interesting tips and advice to enhance your experience. Moreover, we show artist’s work in our own exhibition space, here you will experience some fabulous art events that you will never have experienced before. You are welcome to our place. We offer you a comfortable bed which is larger in size than other hostels. Each bed is equipped with a reading light, power outlet and curtain to maintain your privacy. For your baggage, we provide a secure locker for each person, each one is big enough to keep your suitcase. The cafe and bar space on the 1st floor provides you delicious drinks. |

This property has specific Terms & Conditions.Thank you for choosing ARTnSHELTER as your base of Tokyo trip. We wish your time in Tokyo would be fabulous by experiencing deep Japanese culture and spending time in our space. Here are some information of ARTnAHELTER and tips for traveling around the area, so please read it to have fully access to our facilities and the city of Tokyo.
1).Check-in
Check in time is from 3pm to 12am
We also allowed late check in if only notified. If you arrive earlier than the time, you can ask one of the staffs for leave your baggage to start exploring Tokyo and come back later.
Check-out
Check-out time is before 11am.
2).Cancellation policy
We set cancellation policy in 7 days in advance. We take cancel charge if you cancel or modify the reservation from 6 days before your stay.
No Show = 100% of the booked length fee and we will immediately host other person.
3).We only accept cash and credit card payment at the reception.
4).Age restriction is minimum 14 years old.
5).No lifts at this hostel.
6).One person to occupy one bed.
7).Main entrance closes at 11pm and opens at 8am.Use your card key to get in during the night.
8).Do not smoke inside the building. We have an outside smoking area. Also please use the ashtray provided.
9).Do not eat food inside the bed space, even you feel extremely hungry. Please use the common areas.
10).ARTnSHELTER is a combination of hostel, cafe, bar and exhibition space which means the 1st floor is open for public.
11).Each person has a secure locker. If your possessions do not fit, let us know, we can keep your bags at the staff room.
12).Shower rooms are allocated all the floors. You can choose any of them when available.
13).Outlet (100v) is inside of all of the pods for your gadgets. We have multiple adapters, ask one of the staff to borrow one.
14).We made each bed space bigger to be more comfortable, the upper bunks are spacious, but please do not touch any of the overhead pipes for your safety and mind your head.
15).Be nice to the other travelers and neighbors. This is the primary step to finding new friends.

Samezu Station on Keikyu line is the nearest station from our hostel.
Once you get to the exit, turn right.
Take a right side of the exit and go down to the ground level. Then, turn right.
Turn left the street.
Turn right the corner where you can see FamilyMart.
Turn right the first corner then you will see a shrine.
Turn left and take a walk a narrow street.
At fist corner, you will see ARTnSHELTER on the right.

ARTnSHELTER is located on Shinagawa where has the tradition of japan and the modern lifestyle both together. There are restaurants and supermarkets close to the hostel. The nearest station Samezu is on Keikyu Line which directly goes to Haneda airport, Narita airport, Ginza Asakusa and Tokyo Sky Tree. If you take an approximately 10min walk, you also have an access to JR line, Rinkai line and Tokyu oimachi line, which takes you to Shibuya, Shinjuku and more.
