'Feel what it's like to stay in down town Tokyo.” Built in 1972, the building used to be a pork cutlet restaurant and has been renovated to give you a taste of life in a down town shopping arcade. Just one station from the Ikebukuro hub we aim to deliver you life off the beaten trail. 'The machine that joins fabric together brings the town together' is the concept of our Machine Cafe. Fabric culture and handmade clothing is a language that crosses boarders and generations. Our Japanese style rooms have been loved for 45 years so we have named them 'Wanoiro' or 'Colours of Japan' and themed the fabric accents in the rooms to match. The lounge located on the ground floor is not only for overseas guests but for anyone staying with us as well as locals so we hold daytime events, and you can enjoy Japanese appetizers and Sake on weekend evenings. We are a lodge surrounded by local culture so our hostel is kept as simple as possible so we only have a shower room available. Please make the most of your stay by visiting local restaurants and bathhouse and enjoy a taste of local Tokyo everyday life. |

Sheena & Ippei is located at Shiinamachi on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, one stop away from Ikebukuro, which is easily accessible from Haneda and Narita Airports.
The inn is four minutes walking from Shiinamachi Station. From the north exit, turn left and walk through the covered shopping arcade. Turn right, and then turn left at the next corner and continue walking. Sheena & Ippei is located on the right side of the street.

Enjoy local spots including sushi, soba, udon, rice, set meal, izakaya and ramen restaurants. We offer to try the public baths. These are very clean and anyone get relax. The Kongoin Temple and Nagasaki Shrine are historical spot which are over 500 years old. They have the Matsuri festival (for harvesting) in September.
