- About the Lounge:
Our lounge on the 1st floor is open all day from 08:00. It is not restricted to our hostel guests, so anyone is welcome to come in and have a drink at our bar and café. In the evening, you can try Japanese beer, Japanese whisky and some cocktels with homemade meal.

We provide free breakfast for our guests from 08:00 to 10:00, which includes bread, eggs and coffee.

- About the Rrooms:
At Unplan, we have four different types of rooms, including dormitories and private rooms. Our dormitory beds, while compact, pay attention to detail, providing the most comfortable sleeping experience even in a minimum amount of space. Our private rooms provide the same amount of comfort as your bedroom at home. Attached to these rooms are terraces with a view of the Tokyo Sky Tree.

UNPLAN Kagurazaka is conveniently located i the center of Tokyo, and it will take you only:
- 15 minutes to Tokyo Station
- 15 minutes to Shinjuku
- 18 minutes to Roppongi
- 20 minutes to Shibuya or Harajuku
- 20 minutes to Asakusa
- 20 minutes to Ueno

Our hostel is also walking distance from JR Iidabashi station, for those who want to use a JR rail pass.

大江戸線牛込神楽坂駅のA1出口より 徒歩11分
有楽町線江戸川橋駅の2出口より 徒歩8分


From Kagurazaka Sta. (Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, Station Code T-5) - 5 minute walk

1: Take Exit 2 of Kagurazaka Station.
2: Turn right after exiting the station.
3: Turn right again at the first corner (There will be a 7 Eleven in front of you).
4: Follow the main path for about 200 meters. It will curve left and a restaurant, Mario, should be on your right.
5: After walking straight for about 1 minute,
you will find UNPLAN on your right side.


From Ushigome-Kagurazaka Station (Oedo Line, Station Code E-05) – 11-minute walk

1: Take the elevators up from Exit A1.
2: After leaving the second elevator,
go straight and follow the main road until the first intersection.
3: Turn right at the intersection.
4: Go straight for 450 meters until the road ends (Kagurazaka Station and a Family Mart should be in front of you).
5: Cross the street so you are on the same side as the entrance to Kagurazaka Station.
6: Turn left and walk straight until the first corner.
7: Turn right again at the first corner.
(There will be a 7 Eleven in front of you)
8: Follow the main path for about 200 meters.
It will curve left and a restaurant, Mario, should be on your right.
9: After walking straight for about 1 minute,
you will find UNPLAN on your right side.


From Edogawabashi Sta. (Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, Y-12)

1: Take Exit 2 of Edogawabashi Station.
2: Take a slight left after leaving the station and walk straight (there should be a 7 Eleven on your left).
3: Keep walking straight for about 500 meters (you will see another 7 Eleven on your left along the way).
4: Stop walking when you see a Family Mart on your left.
5: Turn left into the narrow street directly after the Family Mart
6: Walk straight and you will soon find UNPLAN on your left

Experience of Kagurazaka

Kagurazaka is known as a ‘hanamachi,’ a word the Japanese use for old entertainment districts where geisha were commonly found.

Kagurazaka was built around the outer moat of Edo castle during the Edo period. Kagurazaka was where the elite would come when they wanted to leave the castle and have fun. There were also many samurai residences here.
