George House in Toronto, Canada

The only real problem with this hostel is that it is on a really sketchy street. Occasionally we'd hear people screaming arguments at eachother out our window, but other than that (we were never harrassed and the screaming never lasted long) it was a lovely place to stay. I was pleased with our stay at George House for it was very close to most of the places we wanted to visit in Toronto. The bathrooms were clean. What we didn't appreciate as much was there was a constant strange smell around the house and within our room as well. We resereved a double bed room and were given a 2 double bed-room. On one of the double bed's matress, we could feel the springs. Luckily we had the other bed, and it was fine. My partner couldn't sleep well because we could hear the Fang-Tzu, from Canada ~ 20th Oct 2009
