We stayed in a private room. Unfortunately it was right by the main staircase which meant it was a bit noisy, but that was the only downside. Everyone was nice and friendly, advising us on local eateries/streets to avoid, etc. The hostel was also nicely located enar to a the Main St. Sky train stop, and between downtown and Commerical Dr., which was a nice place to be. It was also close to the Science World ferry which meant we could come home easily from Granville island. Tess, from USA ~ 5th Oct 2009
