Cambie Hostel - Seymour in Vancouver, Canada

I stayed at the Cambie Hostel for 2 nights. The noise wasn't that bad but the smell of deep-frying fat in the room, the fact that it hasn't been cleaned for a long time (very dusty, hair on the sheets, dirty shower/sinks, broken tiles in the women's bathroom!!!, broken shower). The staff was friendly and the "breakfast" was okay (we just tried the muffins). All in all less than average, but good if you need a place to sleep after beeing down town - 25$/night is too much for the cleanliness! Julietta, from Germany ~ 23rd Nov 2009

The worst hostel of my holidays in Canada, and I saw a lot of them... no lockers in room, the beds are very old and made up with cheap materials, the shared bathroom is really bad ( too small, very poor furniture ecc.).
