Casa Verde is at Vellano (near Lucca) a hillside village sitting grandly in the high narrow wooded valley above the town of Pescia in Tuscany.
The house has recently been restored with modern services. The house has a fantastic view of Vellano and its terraces rise above its old garden where we grow many types of fruit and vegetables for our guests. Visit us and discover a quiet, gentle and friendly part of Tuscany close to all the glorious attractions of the Renaissance.
Casa Verde sleeps up to 6 in 3 bedrooms with two bathrooms and is spacious and comfortable with panoramic views over Tuscan landscapes. There is a terrace with garden furniture suitable for dining, reading and sun bathing. A swimming pool is only 10 minutes drive away.
The village of Collodi is 20 minutes away. Collodi is the home of Pinocchio who is a fictional character that first appeared in 1883, in The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi
A few kilometers to the east of the Villa Mansi is the Villa Torrigiani, another sumptuous country house, originally dating from the 16th century but remodeled in Baroque style. It has a beautiful park.
