About Hostel Ruthensteiner

Hostel Ruthensteiner is a friendly, international hostel just 4 minutes' walk away from the Westbahnhof Train Station and within walking distance of the city centre and Schoenbrunn Palace. We are a family-run property and offer private and dormitory accommodation plus facilities including a kitchen, a BBQ, a garden, wireless internet access, laundry services and a bar. Lockers are available and linen can be rented by those staying in dormitories.

We are a no-smoking hostel.

This is a fantastic hostel. Everything is brand new, very clean, friendly staff. The bar inside is a nice place to meet other travelers (I was traveling alone). Laundry machines were great (a little expensive though- ending up costing me approx 10 euros to wash and dry). Literally a 5 minute walk to the Westbahhof train station. Good value for money considering location. Usually with a good location you don't get a kitchen, but this hostel did! Also equipped with laundry room, big common area and bar. Location is good, it's an easy walk (about 15mins) to the Museum quarter, and 2 mins to westbahnof. Alice, from Australia ~ 9th Oct 2009
