Vientiane Backpackers Hostel is centrally located in the city of Vientiane near the Mekong River and the Laos National Museum. We offer cheap, clean beds for backpackers and have a restaurant in the lobby with western food.
The Vientiane Backpackers Hostel offers dorms with A/C, WiFi, laundry service, lockers (buy your own lock), 24 hour security and reception, a restaurant with food and drinks in the lobby and free tourist information with maps and consultation. Tourist consultation includes visa service, bus ticket, airline ticket, train ticket and some tours to Vietnam and other parts of Asia. There is a common room with Wifi, TV, A/C and beer so you can meet other backpackers or just relax away from the heat with a cool drink. We have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff who can speak English and are happy to help you. Upon request, we also have long-term beds for people who would like to work in the hostel. |

The Vientiane Backpackers Hostel is 15 km from the airport, 25 km from the Thai border and at least 15 km from any bus station. Tell the Tuk Tuk or Taxi driver to go to Mixay Temple on Mixay Road, the hostel is across the street from the Mixay Temple. You can call the hostel for directions, we speak English and Laos.

Norkeokoummarn Road. Ban Mixay, Chanthabouli District, Vientiane Capital, Lao P.D.R. The Vientiane Backpackers Hostel is in the center of the Vientiane backpacker area. There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hostel. The night market is only a 2 minute walk.
