Pete's Place hostel is situated in the scenic village of Varzea Pequena, with a river swimming, picnic and barbecue area, traditional village cafe and bar - all within walking distance. It is just five minute drive from the medieval town of Gois, with all the main facilities, Banks, shops, 24 Hour Clinic, Pharmacy, numerous cafes/bars and restaurants. A traditional Portuguese stone house that has been renovated and converted into Property Varzea Pequena. Pete`s Place will be the first backpacker property to be opened in this area of Central Portugal. Two dormitories each sleep four people comfortably and one double room with two single beds. Two double bathrooms with bath and shower. It is fully equipped with kitchen, comfortable lounge area with feature fireplace and glass doors opening onto a spacious balcony with spectacular views across the valley and mountains. The Metro runs straight from the Porto airport to the main line station of Carpanha.We are an Hour by train from Porto, 45 mins by car from Coimbra B railway station. .
If coming from Lisbon, its best to get a taxi to the main railway station, then to Coimbra B station.
The train runs from Coimbra Park Station to Serpins which is then a 15 min drive away.Possibilities of being collected from either situation.
