From Bogota, there are two options to reach this National Monument:

Via Tunja: going north on the motorway via Tunja. Arriving in Tunja, at the first traffic light turn left and continue following directions towards Tunja-Chiquinquirá. Journey of 177 km fully paved.

There is the option to deviate after Boyacá Bridge (before Tunja) and take the road to Samacá. In this way the route is decreased approximately 20km and the road is in good condition.

Via Chiquinquirá: on the north motorway you can take the route Chía - Cajicá - Zipaquirá or Briceño - Zipaquirá. From there look for the Marian city of Chiquinquirá, where you take the road to Tunja. Journey of 188km.
