Capitol City Hostel provides clean, affordable accommodation for international travelers at Washington DC's Capitol. We are 25 blocks from the Capitol Building and National Mall, with its memorials, monuments and museums.

We are 40 blocks to the White House, all along H Street/ Benning, served by the X2 Metro Bus. We have a number of simple dormitories plus facilities including free wireless internet access, cable television, laundry, a common room and parking. Linen is provided and tea and toast with peanut butter are available free of charge all day. Check-in: before 21:00 We do not have a curfew or lock-out time. Passport and proof of travel must be presented at check-in. Smoking is not permitted.

Directions:
From Chinatown buses or Greyhound/ Amtrak/ Union Station: find H street (0-3 blocks). Get an X2 metrobus(east ). Bus costs $1.35 Get a transfer so any bustrip in DC is now free, for the next 3-4 hours.(Even the return trip) Exit bus @ 2301 Benning Road (Poppies Fried Chicken). Walk 1/2

Guests must have their passports (or ISIC or University IDs from 50 miles outside of DC and credit card or environmentalist paystub) and proof of international travel.
