Music room Accomodation In the Rectory we have three large guest bedrooms one double, one with double and single bed, the other has a double and two singles. The rooms have very different styles, each looking out on a different garden. All bedrooms share a large old fashioned bathroom: the room with the best view in the house. Our door is open year round to visitors who would like Bed and Breakfast. As credit card facilities are not available at The Old Rectory, we ask visitors to pay by cash, with thanks. |

The nearest town is Westport: there is a direct train service to Dublin.
From Westport: Take the Leenane Road. Once on this road, drive straight for aprox 3.5miles. (You will pass a signpost for Knappagh.) We are on the left. There is a sign for Old Rectory Retreat at the entrance.
If you are coming from Leenane, watch out after the sign indicating Bohea. On your right you will soon pass the Texoil petrol station, We are the 2nd entrance on the right.
If you arrive by train, give us a call at 087 7764820. We may be able to collect you from the station. There are always taxis waiting there.

Westport is a Heritage Town situated in beautiful countryside on the shores of Clew Bay. It is one of Irelands few planned towns. The famed Croagh Padraig is down the road beside Beartra, only one of the many beaches close by .
