The nearest rail stations are Uttoxeter (15 Miles) or Stoke-On-Trent (12 miles). From Uttoxeter you can catch a 32a bus to Cheadle, and then a 235 bus to Whiston. From Stoke-On-Trent take any bus to the central bus station in Hanley, then a 32a to Cheadle, followed by the 235 to Whiston. We are a five minute walk up the hill from the bus stop, following signs for the golf course. The 235 only calls at Whiston a few times a day Monday to Saturday.
See http://apps.staffordshire.gov.uk/bustimes/search.aspx?PC=Whiston-1&DS=&RN for further information.
You may wish to take a taxi. These are readily available at Stoke-On-Trent Station, but may be difficult to find at Uttoxeter.
When driving, from East or West, take the main A52 that runs between Stoke-On-Trent and Derby. When you arrive into the village of Whiston, turn into Whiston Eaves Lane, and then immediately left into Black Lane, following the signs for the Golf Club. After driving up the hill through a residential area, we are near the top of the hill, up a gravel drive on your right hand side.

Located Near

Alton Towers theme park is just 4.3 miles away therefore a convenient friendly stay after a hectic Alton Towers day.

Whiston Hall Golf Club offers memorable views over the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands countryside and is beautifully complimented by a restored clubhouse from when the golf course originally opened in 1972.
