The most confortable dorm bed I had in China, the cleanest chinese toilets I've seen in two months, great staff, good location. Nice bar (a bit overpriced though) and restaurant. Definitely worth it!

The location is very good and there is a great pub. The rooms are not so clean/good and there are few toilets and showers. But the price is rediculously low and the coffee is the best in China. We think that Shuyuan is a good place to stay if you want to party and meet people. There are always people partying and it can get a little too noisy in the evenings.

This hostel was fantastic. We got upgraded to an ensuite room free of charge when we arrived. It is a great place to meet other travellers and has a really good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and Jia Jia our tour guide was brilliant. She kept us entertained on our trip to the Terracotta Warriors with her singing and fun personality. If you go on this trip ask for Jia Jia! Definately recommend this hostel to other travellers.
