he city of Zadar is easily accessible by land, sea or by air. The extensive road infrastructure allows easy connections to other large Croatian cities. Zadar has experienced a recent growth in new tourist and business perspective after the completion of the modern highway, Zagreb-Split (A1).
From downtown Zadar it takes approximately three hours to reach the capital of Croatia (Zagreb) via the new highway or by hydro-powerboat to the North of Croatia. A ferry and tourist harbor is situated right on the peninsula of Zadar. A direct ferry line between Zadar and Ancona in Italy is available throughout the year. Zadar (ZAD) airport is only 9 kilometers outside of the city.

Zadar is conveniently located in the central part of the Croatian Adriatic in the most indented coast line of the Adriatic archipelago.
