Sofias Hotel is charming as it has been designed to resemble a small village with all rooms overlooking the flower filled courtyard giving the impression of rural Greece.The rooms are all very spacious and include a fridge, kettle and basic kitchen equipment, sufficient to make a light meal. All rooms have safety deposit boxes and air conditioning optional and payable locally. . Cots are available on request at no extra charge. There are rooms for two and three people plus one bedroom apartments which will sleep 4 adults comfortably. The complex also includes a supermarket and bar. The supermarket is open from early morning until late and provides all your holiday essentials at competitive prices. It also provides a money exchange service.The pool side snackbar also provides an excellent range of food severed from 8.30am to 5.30pm - from tasty breakfasts to homemade beef burgers and fresh salads. Therefore whenever you fancy a quick bite or even a full meal, excellent food is always available. Whatever your requirement Sofias will endeavour to provide it. |

Sofias complex is very easy to access by either air or road.Zakynthos is lucky enough to have its own airport which is a five minute drive from Kalamaki. The cost of a taxi is approx. 13 Euros to deliver you from the airport to the hotel door.Flights arrive from all over Europe with chartered airlines and there is also a daily flight from Athens so getting here couldn't be any easier. The airport has cafeteria and bar facilities to provide food and refreshment. There is also a Duty Free to meet all your shopping requirements. If you choose not to fly getting to Zakynthos is just as easy. There is a comprehensive ferry service from Killini on the mainland to Zakynthos port with ferries departing from Killini from 5.30am {high season) until 9.30pm. Again the travel distance from the port is only five minutes by taxi. Zakynthos also has a bus service which you can take from Athens airport all the way to Zakynthos Town. So you can relax and let someone else do the driving for you. Finally, there is also a ferry service from ports in Italy which will take you to Patra and from here it is a 45 minute drive to Kilini for the onward ferry trip to the island.So where ever you are travelling from and what ever means of transport you need getting to Sofias coutdn't be any easier.
