AAE Bourbon House Hostel in New Orleans, United States

Great hostel, no complaints, but it is located a little bit far from the French Quarter...

Thanks for review Daniel, we are a good 18 minutes walk to the French Quarter, but its a nice walk! i don't think any hostel is any closer to it then we are, and we do offer the free shuttle to Amtrack and Greyhound..so, were trying. Come see us again AAE Hostels Staff

I enjoyed my time. People staying there were great, Nate was very helpful and nice. Bathrooms were clean, our private room was perfect for a one night stay. Very pleasant stay for my first hostel experience. I would stay there again during another visit to the city. 10 bucks for a cab ride downtown wasn't too bad either. Craig, from USA ~ 10th Nov 2009

its a bit far from the town, in a shady area, and they also have to many mossiys that will eat you alive, however, the guests that where staying there where really cool and made it a grate time. stephen, from England ~ 30th Oct 2009

The staff was very helpful, went out of their way to help us. Hostel was clean and in a safe area. It was a 20 min walk from the french quarter, or a quick trolley ride. The walk down Camp street is pretty and worth the walk. The hostel was a little difficult to find because there is only a very small sign above the door, no other signing to show what the place is.
