The hostel is not in the downtown area but it is really close to the Republique metro station which serves four different metro lines so it is really well connected. The beds and room were just ok, but the staff was excellent. They were really nice and helpful to me. Laura, from USA ~ 24th Nov 2011

Excellent breakfast but in bedrooms, bunk beds have no steps for top bunk, very ackward to get access had to use a stool that was in the room. Also no shelf or light for top bunk, nowhere to put glasses, phone etc. Management should improve this. Bathroom was good. Paul, from Ireland ~ 20th Oct 2011

In general - not bad. Good location, two minutes from metro. Small rooms, there is all what you need. But staff is not so good. Breakfast is from 7 to 10:30, but when we came at 7:15 there was nothing prepare and we had to wait about 15 minutes! Ekaterina, from Russia ~ 2nd Sep 2011

First of all I'm not the kind of person who expects much from a hostel even though I've stayed in amazing ones. But the only thing good about this hostel is staff (the 2 guys I met at the front door) and location ( which can get a little sketchy at night because it's a very local neighborhood). The room was funky, ugly, hot, loud, there was no space to move at all! It was a mess to try to use the shower, the bathroom was dirty and there is no common area meaning if you are expecting to meet Guilherme, from Brazil ~ 25th Aug 2011

While I didn't find this hostel dirty, I was not impressed by the cleanliness. Construction next door and right outside my window made me question security but otherwise, a great stay. I would go back. Excellent location! Close to a major metro stop making getting around very easy. Anything you need is right in the area as well. Wifi and a simple breakfast included. Good location one block from Metro. Best hostel breakfast so far. Room small but they work. Bath in each room with hot water showers. Staff friendly and helpful. Elevator. Need to request top sheet and it will be provided. I would return here. william, from USA ~ 31st Jul 2011
