Close enough but not quite in Shinjuku, still not a bad location. 28 bed dorm got quite stuffy! Novelty value in staying in the capsule style beds/boxes! Comfy and roomy though! Staff didn't seem to know enough to be particularly helpful.

No phone, so you have to go out to call even if it s raining.
Lobby computers don't have sound working, so non skype.
A little overcrowded, feels like being in a cemitery, but clean.
Also no kitchen ..

The Ace Inn was fantastic. We booked at the last minute, got great prices and were hesitant about staying in a 14 bed dorm, but when we got there were absolutely thrilled at the room and privacy. It was the best hostel we stayed in out of the 20+ we tried. The staff were so helpful and it made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you :)

It's a great location. 2 stops from Shinjuku which makes getting around Japan very easy. I wish i didnt have to go to the basement to take a shower or pay 100 yen each time. The common area is a great space to meet new people.

They don t care about the customers, all they want is your money. They bother you at 5 in the morning to pay the day after even if you have until 11 to do so, wake you up even if you had booked etc..Don t wait anything from the staff, never seen a smile over there. the curfew bother everybody.
for intimacy the capsule is good but i won t come back.
