A great place to stay in Lima! I had a private room, but the hostel feels very secure and every one of the staff goes out of their way to help. The owner, Francis, is a wonderful man who takes each guest aside, gives them a map, and explains what to see and areas to avoid. When my luggage was lost, he even lent me two shirts! The staff was wonderful and helped us plan out what to see in Lima during our stay. The hostel is located on a very busy street so make sure you request a room off the street. Our room faced the street and was very noisy due to the traffic passing by.

Location - convenient, close to many eateries and banks. Staff - limited English, average in helpfulness and friendliness. Free internet/computer is a plus. They also have a wide selection of DVDs. The common area and the rooms have a very strange, potent smell. The smell is of some type of air freshener, but our group found it too strong and too strange.

Francis (owner) is great and very helpful in suggesting things to do around town, restaurants, what buses to take, etc. Nice hostel, good location in Miraflores and easy to get around. They arranged taxi pick up at the airport which was also very easy.
