Upon arrival the Alekin can seem a little scary. As you enter the dark foyer an onimous voice shouts down demanding that you use the dubious elevator that she's just purchased. That voice turns out to belong to the sweetest, most hostipital lady we meet. She calms your apprehensions quickly and settles you in. The rooms are then quite clean and comfortable, like staying at your Nans house. Great view, great location, great stay. Samuel, from England ~ 25th Oct 2009

Security issue was a mistake. I\\\'m sure it doesn\\\'t happen often. The building itself is secure. Other then that it was a perfect place to stay. Veronica is the most hospitable and accommodating hostel owner I have ever met in years of European travel. Joe, from USA ~ 7th Oct 2009
