This hostal was regular overall, there are better ones and even cheaper. There is not much happening in the hostal and the staff is not really that helpfull. And they don't really care about the guests, someone there stole one of my shoes, and the staff didn't help me at all, they were like oh there is nothing I can do, so if you decide to go there watch out for your stuff, even shoes get stolen!!! I really liked the hostel. It is not too big and therefor feels more like a shared flat. In fact, it is a big flat. The staff is really nice, they help creating this special atmosphere. The breakfast is basic, but fine and everything is quite clean. I have nothing really to complain. The only negative point is, that the rooms to the street are quite noisy, but this is often the case in Barcelona. Thanks again to the staff! Jannika, from Germany ~ 3rd Sep 2009

Good cheap hostels right in the center of Barcelona. Although having the airco in the bedrooms would be better than only a ventilator, especially during the summer! The bedroom I had was also quite noisy because it was just above the street. But I would recommend this hostel for the cheap price. Florent, from France ~ 2nd Sep 2009

This hostel is a little further away from La Rambla, but that is good if you don't want to feel more safe and if you don't really want to see the prostitutes on La Rambla. It's an easyly wakable distance from the main street, though. The thing that I will remember the most is the staff there (Harrold! So nice !). So fun, nice and easygoing !I recommend it to everyone who wants to party in the bars of Barcelona, but want to *sleep* in their hostel ! I LOVED it ! Karine, from Canada ~ 18th Jul 2009
