Make sure you bring a very good pair of shower shoes...the showers you nearly need a tetanus shot while showering to feel safe. Don't be surprised by the low key attitude from the staff either. Some are cool....some are not. But other than, everything else can't really be beat. The location is incredible....overlooking to ocean. Every night was a huge party...don't plan to get too much sleep here...it's alot of fun though. Security is nothing to worry about...I left my laptop (as did most o

When I pick a hostel I try and choose one that is either the biggest party hostel, or is the dirtiest because I know both will be fun. Banana Bungalow meets both of the criteria in this case. I wouldn't bring anything too valuable with you as the lockers are pay as you go but I left everything on my bed and nobody messed with it. Bring your own sheets and shower shoes if you care about that stuff cuz it can get pretty nasty. By far the best staff I've ever met. It seems that about 60% of th
