The place itself was fine and suited our needs, but the man on the desk when we arrived did not greet us, smile nor was in any way pleasant. Had I been from another country on a first visit to N Ireland, I woud have been left with a very poor impression of local hospitality. Not that I needed to lock up my luggage, but the luggage lockers in the rooms were too small for my luggage. But the location is very near the Queens University, Palm House/Botanical Gardens, and Ulster Museum, and not a long walk to City Hall. The staff were extremely helpful. I don't kunderstand how can the hostel keep your passport! It's an incredible thing that has never happened to me and I've travelled all around the world!
