Best hostel experience I've ever had. HAd so much fun I stayed an extra night, even when I had a free bed in Uppsala up the road.

And you did right! There is no reason to go to Uppsala if you have the chance to stay in Stockholm - it's my favourite city in the whole world! Kindly Lena

Don't worry about no shoes, no drinking, and silence between 23h-07h. Stuff is very friendly and flexible. For such a big hostel I thought it would appear characterless, but thanks to good organization and wonderful stuff I may say easily: this was one of the best hostels I have ever been. Oh, this review really warms my heart! Thank you so much for the sum up, and I am thrilled that you had a nice stay with us. But it pains me to tell you the bikes actually cost 50 SEK to rent... (Still the cheapest in Stockholm, though.) Also, we don't have ovens in the kitchen, only stoves, and there is not one fridge for each room, but almost... Anyway, I feel so happy, because you appreciate what we try to accomplish. We know Stockholm in general is a bit more expensive than some other cities (except Oslo, of course) so we try to make sure we can provide everything you need to have a good time - without ruining our guests. Excellent location and helpful, friendly staff.However, the (bunk) bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in!The showers also lack privacy.

Oh, I wish you had told us which bunk bed you slept in, so we could have fixed it! Well, I'll just have to make our handyman lay down on all our beds to check... there's 140 of them, so I'm sure he will have his best work shift ever! There's plenty of private showers, brand new ones, too. Bummer you didn't discover them! Kindly Lena

poor sound proof. I don't like upper berth, It's easy to create noise to others.

I'm sorry to hear that you were disturbed by noise. I'm very sensitive to noise myself, so I always travel with earplugs. And we have them in reception for people like me. Hope you had a good time in Stockholm anyway! Kindly Lena
