Great location and the room was really large, but not exactly a place for mingling. There are a few couches in the front near reception and the bar is more of a cafe, so I wouldn't recommend it for solo travellers. Another annoying thing is that all the lights are on motion sensor, so you continually have to dance around in the shower, toilet, and sink areas or it goes pitch black (every few minutes). Staff were brilliant with advice though...

New and clean hostel, in a great location. Able to walk to most attractions and to the train station for longer trips out of the city.

Nice place, great location in the center of Berlin. You can't get any closer to the nightlife. All types of public transportation right around the corner. Large, bright and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Free WLAN. Security was good (key card with assigned access to your own floor and room), only the luggage storage was not so good, because everybody who asks can get the key. Still I can highly recommend the place.

Location was great, close to the subway station and some of the major attractions. Nice outdoor common area and bar but did not find it the best place to meet people as a single traveller. Luggage storage room (just a small room that everyone through their bags into and that anyone who asked for the key could access) was a bit of a pain. Overall not a bad hostel though.

The location if thisplace is GREAT. Most things you want to see are within walking distance. Staff are nice, just a little slow sometimes to get to you when you are waiting in line. But otherwise, the cleanliness, and character is wonderful. Wish I could have stayed longer. I also think breakfast should be included in the price (they charge 4 euros for their buffet)

Nice hostel, a lot of young travellers in a good location. But its was hard to sleep because many party outside. Very good security, everyone gets a card to just their rooms.

Really great location; didn't need to use any public transportation to see Berlin. Great atmosphere, the 23hr. bar is fantastic.
