The hostel was quite dirty and cold. There were man furniture which were broken (like the bed). Tv didn´t work and the printer in the lobby was outof order as well. Veera, from Finland ~ 30th Dec 2011

The staff put us in a very crappy room the first night and I double checked my confirmation to show that I paid for 2 beds, not one. The guy at the front desk was rude and argued with me but eventually gave us what we paid for Samantha, from USA ~ 21st Nov 2011

This hostel is actually quite okay, but I find that it's too expensive for what you get. Also, don't expect too much help from the staff, if you run into problems. The reception is unattended after 10 pm and before 10 pm the staff basically leaves their guests hanging anyway. The hostel is not exceptionally clean either, but I have experienced much worse. Good staff, helpful if you ask questions. It was a regular Hostel that has a TV room, bunks, other travelers, new smells and worn carpet. Looked like they were going to renovate. All I needed was a place to stay that was near bars, chinatown, pretty clean/safe. Check out jazz bar "Poetry" on Augusta St. (near hostel)if you are tired of clubs and top 40 music.
