Condor 1 in Prague, Czech Republic

I was in this Hostel two times: 15-16 sep and 23-26 sep, and: 1. No hot water in shower 2. No power supply in my room (they fixed it only after my call) 3. Also, they dont have a Parking, Tours Desk, Iron/Ironing Board, Currency Exchange - its not true! 4. And a had TWO BEDBUG BITES on my body after last night! Disgusting. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The whole place is really run down and while the building has character the rooms do not. Also, my room had no curtains on it. It was not a nice place to come back to after a day in Prague. Tegan, from Australia ~ 1st Sep 2009

We were moved to another hostel after arriving Condor 1 on 11/8 night because the staff said the hostel was fulled. The other hostel was more than 15 min walk from the previous one and we were taking our luggage to walk. They didn't explain why we couldn't get our room even we have booked the hostel online and thought we should accept their arrangements as they like. Lai Han, from China ~ 17th Aug 2009

We came later than expected (at 2 am) and they cancelled us the booking although we made all the necessary steps. Creepy staff, they didn't give us an option to stay at least that night although our booked room was empty. I recommend rather Hostel Týn, in Týnska 19, has 24 h reception and proper staff !! Bathroom is mildewy, not even a wardrobe in the room, we had to keep our clothes on the floor,beds are so old, each spring can be felt, boss tried to have us on with money on arrival, smart, very young staff.
