my permanence in the hostel have been very comfortable and the personnel were very helpful. the position is the best that you can find, in the middle of the city's heart ,near Dam square and red district riccardo, from Italy ~ 2nd Sep 2009

The localitation is great, in the red light district. The staff are kind. The cleanliness is good but just to stay few days. It doesn´t have commun room or kictchen to cook something, however the breatfast is great and subtantial. Great place to stay in Amsterdam. P.D: Take care with the stairs, it is really steep. This hostel was different from others I've visited because it sits on top of an Irish pub. The pub was so great I spent more time there than I did roaming the streets of Amsterdam. Instead of a hostel kitchen they've got some great pub food at a discounted price for those staying in the hostel. Great breakfast. Great staff. Great location.
