Clean room, friendly staff, central location, but this also makes it quite loud. Bathroom could have been cleaner, had a lot of mould. Stairs going up to room are horrible, not for people with vertigo and heavy luggage. Breakfast was also very good, however the food prices in the bar were too expensive, even with the discount, just go to the supermarket. Pricier stay but worth it compared to some of the other gross places nearby Navjot, from Canada ~ 7th Jan 2012

great place, felt secure there with someone always at the door to make sure only people staying in the hostel went to the rooms, and it was nice to have an individual room key and a locker. everyone was very friendly, the room and bathroom were clean. and enjoyed a simple but good breakfast that was included. i will definitely book there again if i come back to masterdam. The hostel locates right at Redlight district, and on the ground floor there is a bar. So it depends on what you want, if you like partying, the crowd and the excitement this is the ideal place. If you can't stand the noise then stay away, coz the music is very loud can be heard from your room till 3am. Other than that the staff are very helpful and fun. We watched the champions league final at the bar and really had a good time Quoc Khanh, from Vietnam ~ 30th May 2011
