FIAP Jean Monnet in Paris, France

The room was OK, but more importantly clean. The bathroom was pretty basic and clean, but no soap or anything was provided and the shower was kind of weird (you had to press the button every time to keep it going). Staff was friendly and their English was pretty OK too. The location was pretty good, near a subway station and very accesable from and to other parts of town. No provision for secury locker in room - was ok because i shared a triple room with two friends, but if travelling solo, this would be a problem. Very clean - very nice and comfortable. This was a great hostel and located a bit from the tourist spots in paris. I liked the neighborhood quite a lot and would recommend this to all travelers. There were a lot of families at this hostel. A hostel that reminded me of a hotel. Breakfast was extremely minimal, and the hostel seemed isolated by location--using the metro to get anywhere is a must. No one walks around or is out and about on the streets by this place, but if you don't care about that then this place is more than enough. I had a single room, and I liked the maid service making my bed and such... Nothing major to complain about, but mostly young school groups staying here. Brian, from USA ~ 1st Jun 2009

The staff was exceptionally unhelpful and advised upon arriving that check-in started at 2:30pm but a room was not guaranteed at a specific time.
