The location is very good, the security is not that good because you can access the stairs and lift before the reception, so anyone can get access the building without been noticed the breakfast was extremely poor and the toilets very dirty almost all the times or cleaned with very poor standards and without supervision only very few people from staff showed interest to help, some of them haven't even look to your face while you talking to them. The Farah Hotel was ideally located for our short stay in Amman. The owner/manager was incredibly helpful and very pleasant. Rooms were clean and bathrooms reasonable - aligned with expectations. Just off the main street for food and drink in downtown and within a few minutes of the bus stations in a taxi, I would recommend to anybody in transit. I really had good time at Farah hotel (given i have stayed at many hostels while travelling).i used Amman as a base for going to syria and the jerusalem, so ended up coming to stay here on 3 different occasions. The staff were friendly and provided travel advice & directions.Farah has a good common room to eat and chat with other travellers.There is a small kitchen if you want to cook something too.I stayed in dorms and private room which was good. The location is good which is steps away arif, from Canada ~ 2nd Mar 2011
