the first night we satyed was nice, the room was in great shape as well as the bathroom. the next day we ask to book an additional night because we decided to saty at the last minute, and they gave us a room that was completely different. There was a cocroach and the bathroom was horrible. The walls were damaged from the humidity and the smell was nasty; and it was only 10 RMB cheaper.

The room was causy but stylish. Nice carved-wood beds. Staff very helpful. One of the best location in China, close to West Lake.

I ordered a vegetarian soup and they put meat in it. I told them and they basically said too bad. Thats terrible service and I'm never coming back.... Good location though.

En suite Showers can be a problem because of bad tiling. The location and food are excellent, outdoor areas good.

The 4 people rooms are average. The air conditioner is on the top of the bottom bed, which makes the people sleeping in the top level bed very hot. Also the door of the shared bathroom is so hard to open from inside. I had to scream loud to ask for help. Eventually I got rescued from a Chinese boy passing by. Before he kicked out the door he asked: did you wear your clothes?

Priavte room was excellent and very clean. All information relavanrt to the hostel had top be sourced from staff, frustrating at times. I would advise the staff to have the coffee machine repaired as soon as possible.

Internet didnt work and the food was not good. I actually got sick on the outdated snack food. The trip was rainy and a bit boring. The staff was helpful and the facilities were cool.
