The owners of the hostel called the police today and kicked me out `cause they did not want to honor THE PRICE I PAID ONLINE A MONTH IN ADVANCE!!!Travelers, if you don`t want to be mistreated and taken out by the police because the owner wants to rip you off, take your business elsewhere, this place does unfair business and does not respect their customers. The hostel`s management is trying to commit fraud: I have booked my stay on hostels.com for 9.99 until Nov, 4., and I have the receipt from the hostel cto confirm that! Today the French manager guy came to me and said that if I wanted to stay until Nov, 4, I NEED TO PAY MORE!!!! I am asking hostel.com to please investigate this matter, and I am going to lodge a complaint with the police as well. This is downright fraud!!!!! maksim, from Belarus ~ 28th Oct 2009

The manager of the hostel who speaks French, was extremely rude with me this morning, saying that although I have my receipt to stay at the hostel until NOv, 4, I CANNOT STAY HERE UNLESS I PAY MORE!!!! That was a shock for me, they are extoring money from me threatening that I will be required to leave today if I do not pay more! under all legal definitions, this is qualified as FRAUD, I hope the owner of the hostel understands that, and that I won`t be leaving anywhere until te date I p maksim, from Belarus ~ 28th Oct 2009

No kitchen, so dont be fooled, well t2o microwaves if that constitutes a kitchen! The security was great cos the key cards didnt work. Was quite pleasant but the claim to a guest kitchen is laughable, and they didntb have a cleaner by the looks of things, toilets were very bad. Breakfast was poor too, but it was cheap at least! no kitchen ( just 2 microwaves in the common room), 3min walk to beach, rooms very dirty, especially the showers. rooms are cleaned like once a week. staff doesn't really seem to care about the customers. it's cheap though and good to explore south beach but not a nice stay in it.

we do have stove now , and the cleaning ladies work really hard to keep the hostel nice and clean , however our hostels huge and there is a possibility that your wasn't cleaned everyday , it is normally cleaned 5 days in a week.
